Tool Objective

Helpful checklist for use by caregivers and primary care providers for joint review of recent or increased symptoms and behaviours (see page 75 of the Guide to Understanding Behavioural Problems and Emotional Concerns). Information compared to usual or baseline behaviour and functioning of an adult with intellectual and developmental disabilities can help to determine the person’s level of distress or a possible psychiatric disorder.
